This Corona Virus epidemic has caught us all by surprise. March – April brides are having to change a years + worth of plans to ensure the health and safety of guest. To my COVID_19 Brides, I have an extreme amount of empathy for you. Here are a couple of tips to help you navigate through this difficult time.

  1. Discuss with your wedding planner what you’re options are to reschedule. You will want to make sure all important factors are able to align for your upcoming wedding date.
  2. Try to avoid canceling wedding plans and go with a postponement option. You’ve already invested into planning out your wedding, things just need a little shift. Don’t let this virus stop you from celebrating your love with friends and family. This social distancing has us all the more wanting to be around friends and family once this passes.
  3. In the meantime, consider eloping. Couples are choosing this as an option because they want to move forward with their plans in some way. It’s a tough one for couples that are endeared to their loved ones. (Brides, check out Betches a good source for brides and stories that show what other couples have done during this time. They also have a lot of hilarious content.)
  4. In this time, take a moment to exercise, yoga, meditate, things that will center you in the midst of this Corona Virus so you can be ready to celebrate for your wedding day! Peloton App, JillianMichaels, and Openfit have some GREAT in-home sessions for you.

Your health is important just like your guest health. By us all working together and playing our part to stop the spread of this virus, we will see things go back to normalcy.

If you want someone to talk to or have questions on how to navigate regarding your event. You can schedule a call here. You are not alone!
