A look into the year 2020...

Hindsight 2020 rings truer than ever. There were many things that were brought to light in many forms from social justice issues, to the gaping political divide, to a virus that swept through the world and managed to put everyones life on pause to some degree. It was like the nightmare that kept going.

At first, I wanted the year to end. Then I stopped and decided to lean in. To do the research to not take at face value what the world was throwing my way. 2020, was the BEST gift ever! It was a year that made me grateful for the little things and appreciative of my friends and family. It also helped me to get more clear on my purpose.

I'm always determined to find the silver lining in all things. I believe what we focus on expands. I choose to focus on the good.

Here are my top 5 take aways this year:

1. Taking time to connect with friends and family should be a priority not something to be forced. As much as we love working, I believe connecting is what sustains us as humans.

2.Ditch the idea of perfection. Take action if there is something you want to do.

3.Eradicate fear as much as you can. It's the biggest thief of the amazing opportunities waiting for you.

4.Face the hard things. If you don't they will always be there. Get it over with so you can live freely.

5.As much as we talk about the difficult things that happened in 2020. Let's not forget people also became millionaires! People became homeowners for the first time! People started their dream business's for the first time! That is something to celebrate! I believe that difficult times bring amazing opportunities.

Keep going girl, you got this!

Cheers to 2021!
